Q&A with the owners

As we head into the last few months of the year, we thought we’d share a few details of what we’ve been doing to protect our guests and staff so that everyone feels comfortable at Sebago Brewing.


Since we reopened this summer, we’ve followed all the CDC guidelines for sanitizing, social distancing, and face coverings – and we’ve gotten great feedback and gratitude from many of our guests.

Q: What safety protocols have you put in place?
A: From the beginning of the summer, we’ve spaced tables at least six feet apart, our employees always wear face coverings, and we disinfect everything – tables, chairs, menus, pens, and bathrooms – regularly. We also have a professional cleaning crew that thoroughly cleans all of our locations every night, but we’ve been doing that for 20 years.


Q: What other modifications have you made?
A: We’ve installed Plexiglass for more protection, and we’ve upgraded the air filtration systems at all of our locations with MERV-13 air filters to further reduce risk. We also have economizers on all of our HVAC units which continually circulate fresh air into the buildings.


Q: How can guests help?
A: Like in most places in Maine, we limit the number of guests and require them to wear a face covering when not at their table. Not surprisingly, we’ve found that our guests are good neighbors and comply with all the guidelines.


Q: How long will there be outdoor dining?
A: We’ve had a great summer and fall outdoors at all our locations, so we’ll keep it going as long as folks are up to it. We have heaters at all of the brewpubs except for Portland, and, the fire-pit at the Tasting Room. Mainers are a hardy bunch!

Do I have to make a reservation?
No, reservations are not required.


Do I have to wear a mask?
Yes, all guests will be required to wear a face covering when not at their table. Our employees will also be wearing face coverings.


Can I order takeout?
Yes. Take a look at our menus online and then give us a call to place your order. (Please note that the Tasting Room is located at 616 Main Street in Gorham, and the Gorham brewpub is located at 29 Elm Street in the Gorham Village.)


Can I order delivery?
Yes, all Sebago locations deliver through Door Dash, Uber Eats and GrubHub.


What’s on tap?

Can I buy cans to go?
Absolutely, just ask your server or the host. Our beer is conveniently located in coolers near the front door.


Can I get Sebago Brewing merch?
Definitely. You can get Sebago shirts, hats, and gift cards in person at the brewpubs or at our online store.
