What’s Pouring

Dark by 4 is our take on an English stout. Its roasted character is tempered with rich crystal malt and balanced hopping – all of which is  enhanced by the nitro pour. Inspired by the long dark hours of Maine’s winter months.

Blue Your Mind is the result of mixed fermentation, blending, and aging. Saddleback wort has been fermented with multiple strains
of brett in wine barrels. After almost of year in the barrels, wild Maine blueberry puree from Blue Sky Produce (Central Maine)
was added and the aging continued resulting in a dry, tart, refreshing fruit beer.

Amber color, malty backbone, and grassy hop notes make it no other.

This bold West Coast IPA is highly hopped exclusively with Stata at 3 pounds per barrel. The wide range of aromas and flavors that Strata  contributes makes this single hop IPA full of character

Our session IPA, Simmer Down, is relaxing and crushable.

As Per My Last Pale is just touching base to let you know that we circled-back and double dry-hopped this light-bodied ale as discussed at the last meeting. El Dorado, Simcoe and Mosaic
were all present at each scheduled hopping.

Sebago Oktoberfest is a nod to the traditional märzen beers served every fall in Germany. Cooler fermentation and lengthy conditioning make this malty, smooth, and complex beer the right choice to ease into autumn. Enjoy this timely lager for the limited season it’s available.

Club Nuvo was brewed in collaboration with the Technical Committee of Maine Brewers Guild & Crosby Hops showcasing their newly developed product CGX NUVO in which fresh wet hops are “frozen in time” with liquid Nitrogen. Cold IPAs are fermented with lager yeast but served young bypassing the extended aging of standard lagers. Club Nuvo is bursting with wet/fresh hop oils that are typically only found in beers during harvest times close to where hops are grown.

Maine’s legendary IPA. Take the leap!

Buck’s Best is named after the Buck family that runs Maine Malt House and provided the base malt for this brew. Their base malt, Mapleton Gold, is fashioned after classic English pale malts and gives this beer its characteristic color and malty bread-like flavors. Restrained hop use brings in pleasant herbal notes which blend well with subtle fruity esters from the English yeast.

Bonfire is a hoppy rye ale brewed for the warm days and crisp evenings of autumn. Earthy and resinous, this beer is a great blend of complex malt character and a dominant blast of hops.

Streets of Rome is an Italian-style pilsner referencing the iconic “When I Paint my Masterpiece”– Oh, the streets of Rome are filled with rubble Ancient footprints are everywhere You can almost think that you’re seein’ double On a cold, dark night on the Spanish stairs– Inspired by Head Brewer Rusty Packer’s time in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome.

Slick Nick is Sebago’s classic winter warmer. Full of rich smooth malt flavor, this insidious brew is best enjoyed during New England’s freezing winter months.

Lil Buzzy is our latest low-cal IPA, made with a new hop botanical extract that delivers extremely potent hop character to an already hoppy beer.  his quick and easy drinking beer has the more aroma and flavors than beers twice its size while keeping the ABV low. It is bursting with aromas of  each candies, ripe tropical fruit, and grapefruit zest.

Our 2025 Barleywine is aged for 10 months in a selection of bourbon barrels from Widow Jane and Heaven Hills. It boasts bold flavors from the marriage of beer and barrels that are not for the faint of heart.

Flip Flops & Flannels was first brewed with a visiting friend from Sierra Nevada. This year’s batch is hopped Comet and Citra and uses a Norwegian farmhouse yeast that contributes to fruity esters by being fermented at close to 100°F, which is 30°F warmer than most our other beers.

Scary Garcia is a nod to the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream both in name and recipe. This stout uses pastry-beer hybrid ingredients which keep it tasting more beer-flavored instead of using whole pastry products additions like cake or donuts. Lactose sweetens the finish while balancing the bitterness from the roast malts and cacao. The sweet and sour cherries combined with vanilla extract will leave you asking what a long, strange dip it’s been, man…
