Fall beers are here!

This Saturday is the first official day of fall and we are SO READY. One of our favorite beers is out now in cans and on draft…Oktoberfest! This lager is an homage to the traditional Märzen-style beers served in Bavaria and throughout Germany during their Oktoberfest celebrations. Cooler fermentation and lengthy conditioning make our Oktoberfest malty, smooth, and complex. In other words, the perfect choice to ease into autumn.

Flip Flops & Flannels is a small batch fall beer we love. This Norwegian-style pale ale was first brewed with a visiting friend from Sierra Nevada. This year’s batch is hopped with Comet and Citra hops and uses a Norwegian farmhouse yeast that contributes to fruity esters by being fermented at close to 100°F — that’s 30°F warmer than most our other beers.

Cherry Hill Trails, one of our popular barrel fruited sours, is coming soon! Named for the Cherry Hill Trail system on the property behind the brewery, this sour ale was fermented in pinot noir barrels and aged with Brettanomyces and sweet and sour cherries. After resting in barrels for over a year, the results are a pleasant tart beer with fruit and wine notes.

These small batch beers and many more are available at the Tasting Room and select Sebago brewpubs. Don’t forget to check our website to see which beers are on tap at each location.
